Genifiqué Light Peal was launched by Lancome global in July 2012. Our office in China was leading the global product launch, which was a first for China. The 360 degree gesture and the general innovation of the product needed to be re-enforced in the web and mobile design. The concept evolved into a mobile-desktop integration. To truly innovate, we decided to use no flash, no native applications. The two sites are reached by the same URL, but for the mobile, you are given a chance to syncronize with your desktop. There is a code on the desktop version that allows, using ONLY html, the two sites to be linked. This allowed the user the chance to play with the gestures on their mobile and reveal new content, redeam prizes on there desktop.
The platform was picked up and localized to multiple countries in multiple languages.
